as many of you know, my younger brother, jon, is a marine who is currently serving in iraq. well, his birthday is coming up soon, february 28th to be exact, and we think it would be really cool to just inundate him with cards and encouragement for his 24th birthday. so if you know my brother or even if you don't but you want to send some love his way, please do.
here are somethings to keep in mind:
1. mail usually takes about 2 weeks to get there.
2. the cost to mail a card to him is the same as in the states and can be dropped in the mailbox. no need for a customs form.
3. if a package is your encouragement of choice, you can do that too. the post office actually has priority mail boxes specifically for soldiers that you can get for free.
